SQA Engineer, System Integration
This position is ideal for mid to senior SQA to join the System Integration Team at Align as a SQA Engineer. In this position, you will design, develop, and implement test plans to verify requirements , solution designs , role involves a heavy collaboration with subject matter experts to propose advanced testing strategies. Partnering with various cross functional teams (clinical, technology, enterprise, etc..) ,software development team, application SQA, Product Owners, Business Analysts to implement testing methods and validate E2E Systems Integration test cases and validate the data integrity between the applications, debugging issues and presenting findings to stakeholders. This role plays a key role in validating product requirements, and ensuring the quality of Align E2E product workflows, delivering with high quality.

- Understand the requirements and solution behind the requirements.
- Follow System Integration processes and procedures in designing and executing the test cases
- Work closely with various cross functional teams for conducting ambiguity reviews, identify the gaps in the design, propose any risks that you foresee with the roadmap project deliveries
- Understand the feature based, agile deliveries and its impact to integration testing.
- Support Business User Previews as well as User Acceptance testing.
- Create a very detailed test design and test steps that are accurate and details the accurate E2E workflows.
- Help and guide the team members wherever needed on the Align E2E product knowledge.
- Work closely with SDET’s by provide details to the automation team related to the functional project changes and propose the use cases for automation.
- Participate and constantly improve System Integration Functional test processes.
- Develop and maintain product test plans and test cases that are effective at trapping defects so other team members can run them with confidence
- Assist in understanding and replicating customer issues.
- Implement test cases that reflect how applications should perform to delight customers.
- Understand and work with various monitoring, analyzing system generated logs.
- Work with various databases to fetch the information and ensure the data integrity.

- Education: MS or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields.

Experience:
- 6 years of SQA experience. Preferred - Systems Integration SQA experience.
- Experience with modern ALM tools and processes, including Test project management, defect tracking, writing test plans, test scenarios, and test reports.
- Working experience of Agile methodology.
- Experience in understanding solution design documents, requirements documents including SOR and SRS and designing the test cases out of it. Test case planning and test case design and development.
- Version control systems
- Core objectives and basic programming experience.
- Strong foundation of Databases, reading system logs, fetching details via API requests, Web Services and other modern engineering stack components.
- Hands on experience on Automation testing tools and frameworks.
- Hands on experience Enterprise systems like SAP and Salesforce.
- Ability to work on innovative technologies and frameworks as required
- Healthy engineering mindset, developing clean code for documentation and maintainability
- Passion for improvements, innovation, optimization
