About this opportunity
The Financial Analyst will be a key member of the ANZ finance team responsible for partnering with the sales and marketing team and providing financial support to senior sales and commercial leaders in planning, forecasting, and business analysis. The Financial Analyst is expected to dynamically handle multiple competing priorities, have the ability to navigate IT infrastructure, develop financial modelling and data analysis skills using various analytical tools, have outstanding teamwork and collaboration skills, have excellent communication and relationship skills, and have a positive "can-do" attitude with sound business acumen.
In this role, you will…
- Performing financial and scenario analysis on marketing promotion proposals to identify business opportunities and risks
- Trusted partner to the Marketing and Sales teams, ensuring a good working relationship, offering analytics to drive business strategies
- Collaborating with internal key stakeholders to project sales volume and revenue
- Performing competitive analysis on pricing strategies and market share
- Evaluate the revenue and operating expenses trend
- Collaborate with accounting team for calculation of the monthly commission
- Preparing commentaries and presentation packs for corporate and regional management review
- Assist with month-end closing and periodic reporting as required
- Assist with the budget and forecast process and translate business decisions into financial models
- Other ad hoc tasks as assigned
In this role, you’ll need …
- Can do attitude – identify issues and provide solutions
- Qualified CA / CPA with tertiary qualification (preferred)
- Excellent communicator with the ability to influence key stakeholders
- A strong understanding of technology and business systems, strategically and operationally
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years as a business analyst
- Work experience in financial modelling using Excel is a must
- Experience in using large ERP system – SAP / BI, PowerBI, SFDC and SQL
