Instructional Designer
Role summary
This position is ideal for experienced learning professionals to join the Training Operations’ team as an Instructional Designer, developing impactful and engaging content that supports organizational capability and performance. Partnering with subject-matter experts and cross-functional teams, you’ll provide creative learning solutions and high-quality instructional materials tailored to diverse audience needs. This role is key in ensuring learning programs are innovative, aligned with the company’s branding and standards, and reflective of current business realities.

Role expectations
• Support the training development area in the designing and development of scalable learning programs, working with subject-matter experts and stakeholders to define key learning objectives and outcomes.
• Conduct and develop structured course outlines and training programs aligned with defined learning objectives, leveraging Bloom’s Taxonomy to ensure appropriate cognitive levels are addressed.
• Prepare and present high-quality learning materials, including e-learning modules, multimedia content, and interactive assessments, to stakeholders and review panels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including L&D, SMEs, quality and branding, to develop cohesive and impactful training materials and curricula.
• Monitor the effectiveness of instructional content through assessments and feedback, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Support recurring curriculum updates and revisions to ensure alignment with current practices, organizational goals, and learner expectations.
• Ensure compliance with internal branding guidelines, content quality standards, and instructional design best practices.

Typically,
• Education: requires a bachelor’s degree in education, design or engineering or may have a master’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• Experience: minimum of 2 years of directly related experience
• Skills: graphic design attention to details, time management & organization, creative & innovation, critical thinking and problem solving.
• Communication: Excellent presentation, influencing and communication skills
• Teamwork: teamwork and collaboration expectations

• E-learning software knowledge (Articulate knowledge is a plus), video editing, LMS Knowledge (DOCEBO is a plus),
