Digital Platform Territory Manager - Western Canada (Calgary)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales territory and be a business partner to your customers to modernize and grow their business including expansion of iTero intraoral scanners and ultimate adoption of Invisalign clear aligners.
- Use insights/data/analytics combined with a proven consultative selling approach to challenge and drive customer decision making of the advantages to adopt new digital processes and tools.
- Plan and execute a territory plan, based on understanding the potential in each account and actively prospecting and pursuing new iTero opportunities in assigned territory.
- Partner with other Align sellers, clinical support, and dental laboratories within your territory to maximize customer experience and ongoing promotion of Align solutions.
- Strategically partner with channel other Align sellers (i.e. Territory Managers), clinical partners, marketing and dental laboratories within your territory to maximize customer experience and to prioritize opportunities.
- Orchestrate additional internal company resources to optimize the customer experience and provide ongoing promotion of Align /iTero solutions.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience required in a business-to-business (B2B) sales role or industry dental experience selling a medical device, capital equipment, dental, orthodontic, or other relevant combination of sales (inside or outside) and industry experience. Knowledge of Dental industry including implants, restorative and laboratories is preferred.
- Business & Marketing knowledge: Ability to have business discussions (Cash Flow Analysis, ROI, P&L) and ask the right business questions.
- Tech-savvy with a strong aptitude for navigating web-based platforms and digital tools. Solid computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, CRM system (Salesforce preferred) and virtual communication platforms.
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals.
- Strong interpersonal skills, adept at building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external customers. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Organization skills, including time management, multi-tasking and attention to detail.
- High customer-service standard.
- Troubleshooting ability, including research and reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position which includes lifting up to 40lbs.
- Superior English communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Fluent French (verbal and written) is also required for all roles based or supporting customers in the province of Quebec.
- Valid Driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and travel to the US.
- Standard 5 day and 40-hour work week
- Ability to travel as needed; extensively estimated at 50% within Canadian territory including overnight travel, some nights and weekends based on in-market events
