Role Summary
This position is ideal for a junior level SQA engineer to join the iTero intra-oral medical scanner team with a focus on performing manual testing of scanner software and writing automated tests under the supervision and with the support of the software engineering team.

Your tasks as a Jr. SQA Engineer m/f/d

  • High motivation to learn about manual and automated testing in the context of medical devices and Windows software.
  • Review software requirements and write test cases against the requirements.
  • Review, maintain and manually execute test cases and create defects.
  • Assist the development team with day-to-day software testing activities, software problem detection, log analysis and software behaviour analysis.
  • Write automated tests for software in C# under the supervision of software engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies.

Your skills and expertise

  • Skills: understanding of Windows as an advanced user, basic C# knowledge
  • Experience: 1 year experience as QA Engineer
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, OR equivalent vocational training (e.g., Fachinformatiker für Anwendungsentwicklung) with relevant experience. Proficient English communication skills (spoken and written) at a minimum B2 level (CEFR) or equivalent.
  • Communication: Demonstrate proactive problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills within and outside the team. Well organized, attention to details.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience writing integration tests for desktop applications.
  • Visual Studio/JetBrains Rider, git, code review experience.
  • Atlassian stack - Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence.
