Finance Systems SAP Basis Admin
This position is ideal for mid-level professionals to join the Finance Systems & Reporting team as a Finance Systems SAP Basis Admin. This role would strategically engage with key members of finance and finance operation function and would be instrumental in the administering and delivering a reliable finance systems that will enable Align finance user groups to migrate to the next generation of Align’s financial reporting platform. The Finance Systems SAP Basis Admin will be reporting to the Sr. Manager, Global Finance Systems & Reporting lead based in San Jose, California (US) and would strategically engage with key members of finance function defining and delivering on the enterprise roadmap projects as well as own and help resolve day to day tactical problems and challenges.
This position will involve the configuration and maintenance SAP Finance Datasphere tenant, preparing connectivity for data integration with various source systems, create & configure DP Agents. creating spaces and allocating storage to them, as well as monitoring and maintaining the tenant, identifying system efficiencies, managing security profiles for all finance users, database development , documenting changes and working with the Internal IT Infrastructure team & the IT Audit on SOX compliance. Would also be involved in developing backend system integration capabilities and next generation dashboard & visualization tools to meet business financial reporting needs. The role will ensure use of best practices for systems implementation, enhancing business decision making and reporting capabilities.

Role expectations
As part of the global finance reporting team, main responsibilities would primarily involve the following:
· Administration & support of SAP Datasphere tenant, configure and deploy DP Agents, cloud connectors and maintaining integration and configuration parameters with various source systems including SAP ECC, SAP S4, Databricks, Power BI and other Microsoft enabled tools to enhance the level of reporting capabilities within the finance organization.
· Would be responsible for managing users and roles for the SAP Datasphere tenant, preparing connectivity for data integration, and creating spaces and allocating storage to them, as well as monitoring and maintaining the day to day data loads.
· Would be responsible for developing and maintain user security and access for financial reports across the organization.
· Assist the internal audit team with successful completion of annual financial report auditing process by functioning as a key contact for all report security and audit related queries.
· Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests, as necessary.
What we're looking for
· Requires Bachelor’s degree in CS, Information Technology, or a related field, with 6+ years of experience in SAP Basis in developing & administering systems to support the Finance organization.
· Should be a self-starter who is able to work with minimal direction and exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
· This dynamic role will require the candidate to work on problems of a diverse scope and manage their own time to successfully complete assigned tasks by either required dates or self-prescribed due dates.
· The candidate will serve as a liaison between the finance user group, corporate report development team, and IT.
· Should be a team player and possess good interpersonal and communication skills, reflecting an ability to be patient and outgoing with people.
· Should be highly motivated, result focused, and act with a high sense of urgency.
· Should possess excellent planning and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask and maintain by adapting to change.
Complementary skills
· Advanced Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
· Must have the ability to independently create spreadsheets and perform quantitative analysis.
· Prior experience working with SAP-ECC, SAP-Datasphere, SQL, SAP BW or Azure Finance data lake will be considered a plus.
