Sr. Software Engineer in Test
Align Technology’s one of the R&D teams (Clinical Services Applications), that is responsible for several critical projects, is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test who wants to try different programming languages like Python, Terraform and different technologies like AWS, Locust, Behave, Cypress, Browserstack, Catchpoint. Along with the business projects we also participate in research projects and our team has won Align Hackathon with its Canary API project. Key Responsibilities
• Create/support/evolve quality gates for several critical applications
• Test the code created by developers, participate in release process
• Drive the research projects
• Design test cases and conduct test cases reviews
• Estimate testing scope, plan & monitor testing for projects
• Prepare test documentation (test strategy, test plans, RTM)
• Write and automate test cases
• Work with bugs throughout their lifecycle
• Collaborate with other applications' teams
• Support and optimize test regression
• Clarify use-cases with internal users
• Prepare data for validation, system integration e.t.c.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
• M.S. in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years as a Regular/Senior QA Engineer
• Experience in development of tests automation using Python
• Experience in Docker
• Experience in Git/Bitbucket
• AWS experience is a good plus, but not obligatory
• Desire to release product with good quality and ability to find defects
• English upper-intermediate level and higher
Complementary skills
• Understanding of AWS and creation of infrastructure using Terraform
• Experience in writing performance tests using Locust and JMeter
