Supervisor, New Provider Onboarding (Sales)
The Supervisor, Onboarding will lead a customer-facing segment of our business, designed to effectively onboard new providers, build lasting partnerships, and accelerate Invisalign growth in their practices. This role will support and report to the Onboarding Team Manager, customizing onboarding approaches to help providers implement Align's digital ecosystem in their offices and achieve both short-term and long-term goals.
Role expectations
- Supervise a team of 12+ Onboarding Specialists and foster a strong sales culture.
- Deliver training and development focused on quota attainment and team goals.
- Provide vision, planning, and prioritization for team resources, delegating projects, duties, and objectives.
- Enhance process efficiencies within the team.
- Report on team metrics and results to department leadership and stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain controls and feedback systems to monitor department operations.
- Partner with the recruiting team on acquiring and retaining team members, assisting in the selection process.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring for team members.
- Analyze consumer engagement and implement measures to improve processes.
- Maintain effective communication with consumers, field sales executives, and sales support team members.
- Manage and assess employee competencies and development progressively.
- Utilize internal tools for documentation and reporting; regularly run and review standard reports.
- Participate in cross-functional teams and serve as the liaison for Customer Care.
- Oversee the new hire onboarding and training process.
- Conduct regular 1-on-1 meetings with representatives.
- Assist in the formation and delivery of Business Reviews.
- Lead the structuring of internal CRM to improve effectiveness and ease of reporting.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of sales and/or management experience.
- Inside sales experience, preferably in healthcare or technology.
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Ability to learn technical product knowledge in a highly complex industry.
- Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Salesforce.com.
- Successful track record of working with managers and executives at high levels, as well as end-users.
- Proven problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
- Experience in business analysis, including implementation, tracking, problem resolution, and reporting.
Pay Transparency
If provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate’s pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically.
For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S.
Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
