About this opportunity You will need to have the ability to develop and execute new hires training, sales enablement, sales management, and developmental trainings across your region in APAC to drive the company’s strategic goals and objectives. You will need to increase sales competencies of the sales force, plan and execute Sales Enablement programs to address the gaps and achieve the region’s strategic objectives. The trainings provided will equip APAC sales teams the right knowledge about our end-to-end digital workflows, using business acumen to find opportunities to drive patient conversion, execute effectively to expand territories and address fast changing competitive landscape. Align Technology’s market opportunity and value proposition are strong and we are continuing to execute our strategies to increase adoption and utilization of our products and services worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Excel in Training Selling Skills, Sales Competencies and Executions:
- Deliver results to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs.
- Able to develop sales and sales management trainings, plan and execute trainings, activities across APAC and monitor progress and results with clear objectives, target audience, KPIs, selling techniques, exercises, role-plays, and coaching scorecards.
- Able to understand different countries’ strategic goals, needs, tailor-make strategies and trainings to train all sales trainers and sales teams, coach the coach (coach sales managers and coaching their sales teams)
- Able to understand sales teams’ needs, identify key stakeholders, work with key stakeholders and influence them to review country’s sales competencies, training effectiveness and gaps to increase new business competencies
- Manage, coach, develop and inspire direct reports and sales team members to deliver the best results possible
- Influence senior sales leadership, and training advisory board using knowledge of best practices in principles of adult learning
- Compile, translate and localise regional and global training material to be used in-country for the local sales teams, including sales managers.
- Conduct a variety of courses for the local sales teams in sales techniques, systems, processes software (such as Salesforce CRM) and competencies using both online and offline platforms.
- Conduct courses when required in other aspects such as competitive selling, product launches, proprietary software, white papers and customer support.
- Design reference material for sales teams in topics including battle cards, objection handling, pitch decks, talk tracks and competitor overviews.
- Administer in-field sales coaching for sales representatives and managers in sales techniques (monthly) and competencies (semi-annually)
- Manage sales systems via metrics and reviews. Follow up with analyses on inefficiencies found in the data and ensure that these gaps are addressed
- Communicate Effectively: - Train sales reps to achieve targets by communicating effectively to ensure customers use our products through execution of high value activities and selling - Work with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to execute trainings successfully Attend, participate and effectively interact in meetings with key stakeholders of different channels, conferences and trade shows to increase the profile of Invisalign and iTero and differentiate us from other Dental companies. Business Acumen:
- Ensure sales teams develop a complete understanding of how Invisalign works, basic industry knowledge and customers’ insights, competitors in the market
- Ensure trainings initiate conversations to introduce iTero intraoral scanners, in-practice benefits and details to drive patient conversion
- Identify opportunities increasing sales competencies
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualified or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 5-8 years of outside business-to-business (B2B) sales experience. Industry knowledge and experience selling a medical device, capital equipment, dental products, orthodontic appliances, or other relevant B2B experience preferred
- Uphold the highest integrity, the compliance culture and values of the company, maintain a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
- Good computer skills to use Word, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce.com and Power Point.
- Dedicated Sales Training Winners: Result-orientated sales training leader who work very closely with their sales teams to thrive in a fast-paced environment and drive teams to deliver results and create a consistent track record of success
- Sharp Business Acumen: Excel to leverage industry knowledge, customers’ insights and analytics to identify business opportunities, do business planning, manage pipelines, grab market share and drive patient conversion in fast competitive landscape
- Influential achievers: A sales enablement manager who can train sales training teams who are customer-centric to influence customers, excel in negotiation and possessed communication skills to communicate effectively information, drive results and recommendations with key customer stake holders, senior management and their teams - Resilient: Self-driven, strategic, agile to anticipate changing landscapes and lead change, ability to scan the market/competitors/business trends, coach and inspire others, to consistently drive performance.
- Role Models: Be sales champions’ role models, identify business opportunities and formulate innovative solutions for practice and clinical perspectives, ability to demonstrate effectively to coach sales training teams.
