Sales Trainer
Role expectations
Excel in Training Selling Skills, Sales Competencies and Executions:
- Deliver results to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs.
- Able to develop sales and sales management trainings, plan and execute trainings, activities across JAPAN and monitor progress and results with clear objectives, target audience, KPIs, selling techniques, exercises, role-plays, and coaching scorecards.
- Be able to analyze sales gaps such as competencies and skills, and develop training initiatives to improve and develop the sales teams
- Be able to co-travel with sales leaders in order to coach on the job and help on their development
- Able to understand sales teams’ needs, identify key stakeholders, work with key stakeholders and influence them to review country’s sales competencies, training effectiveness and gaps to increase new business competencies
- Influence senior sales leadership, and training advisory board using knowledge of best practices in principles of adult learning
- Compile, translate and localize regional and global training material to be used in-country for the local sales teams, including sales managers.
- Conduct a variety of courses for the JAPAN sales teams in sales techniques, systems, processes, software (such as Salesforce CRM) and competencies using both online and offline platforms.
- Conduct courses when required in other aspects such as competitive selling, product launches, proprietary software, white papers and customer support.
- Design reference material for sales teams in topics including battle cards, objection handling, pitch decks, talk tracks and competitor overviews.
- Administer in-field sales coaching for sales representatives and managers in sales techniques (monthly) and competencies (semi-annually)
- Be in contact with other relevant training peers, in order to share best practices and bring new tools/ideas to implement.
- Keep traceability on commercial teams’ evolution and grades.
- Maintain a basic knowledge in orthodontic/dental concepts and topics.
- Manage sales systems via metrics and reviews. Follow up with analyses on inefficiencies found in the data and ensure that these gaps are addressed
- Train sales reps achieve targets by communicating effectively to ensure customers use our products through execution of high value activities and selling
- Work with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to execute trainings successfully
- Attend, participate and effectively interact in meetings with key stakeholders of different channels, conferences and trade shows to increase the profile of Invisalign and iTero and differentiate us from other Dental companies.
- Ensure sales teams develop a complete understanding of how Invisalign works, basic industry knowledge and customers’ insights, competitors in the market
- Identify opportunities increasing sales competencies
- Provide support to audit processes and quality management system as required.
What we're looking for
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualified or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 5-8 years of outside business-to-business (B2B) sales experience. Industry knowledge and experience selling a medical device, capital equipment, dental products, orthodontic appliances, or other relevant B2B experience preferred
- Uphold the highest integrity, the compliance culture and values of the company, maintain a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
- Good computer skills to use Word, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce.com and Power Point.
