Sr Marketing Manager, Orthodontics
The Sr. Marketing Manager, Orthodontic Pediatric Products and Event Strategy will be responsible for driving the adoption and usage of Phase 1 Invisalign clear aligners and Invisalign Palatal Expander into the US market in addition to any new innovation in the pediatric space. The individual is also responsible for driving event and trade show strategy, communication, and execution for the Ortho Channel. The individual will support in the development and execution of the Orthodontic Pediatric strategy and product utilization while redefining and delivering our value proposition.
This person must be customer-centric and a self-starter with a proven ability to execute and work independently. She/he must work effectively cross-functionally and collaboratively with sales, operations, programs, clinical education, finance, legal, and outside agencies. This role includes all aspects of marketing such as positioning, category creation, messaging, creative development, sales partnership & enablement, KOLs, and product launches. This position is based in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Role expectations
- Develop and drive marketing strategy to support key product launches including creating new categories
- Partner with Events and experience team to drive channel narrative and communication objectives into tradeshows, including ensuring Pediatric products and innovation are elevated across event experience
- This individual must collaborate with cross functional teams including global marketing, finance, marketing communications, and sales.
- Understand customer mindset and barriers to adoption of our product portfolio to craft strategies and deliver solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organizations, including Sales, Product, Communications and legal.
- Support and manage a range of projects that support our strategic and tactical efforts, including customer-facing marketing assets, messaging and positioning and new reports to analyze progress and react accordingly.
- Work with agency partners to drive creative efforts and deployment strategies in a timely manner.
- Assess product and feature launch plans, including modes of delivery, and provide recommended changes and improvements to product strategies and plans.
- Monitor overall business results, including identifying and monitoring key metrics and other data sources that gauge the health and growth of the business, and future business trends.
- Develop new category Go To Market plans including creating commercialization strategy for all pediatric products and innovation
- Develop event communication and activation plan for live events
- Develop promotions and pricing recommendations for pediatric products
- Help create messaging and resources for sales team
- Identify white paper strategy and KOL activation to bring new pediatric products to market
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or relevant field, or equivalent experience. MBA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of directly-related experience, preferably in medical device, life sciences, technology or healthcare industry.
- Excellent strategic and analytical skills, sound judgment, customer focus, and business acumen to set priorities and make critical business decisions.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly present business issues and ideas, make recommendations, and drive decisions with peers and executives.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously with convergent timelines.
- Strong track record of team leadership and development. Proven ability to work with individuals across levels and functions, and drive accountability and ownership.
- Track record of achievement and excellence in sales or sales management preferred.
Pay Transparency
If provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate’s pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically.
For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S.
Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
