Global BI Reporting & Analysis Specialist
BI Reporting and Analysis Specialist focuses on analyzing and reporting the global manufacturing operations according to the business requirements, tactical goals, and growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating a system of KPIs and analytical dashboards for manufacturing functions locally and globally and other Business units per the Department’s commitments.
- Performing reporting, analysis, recommendations, and administrative tasks.
- Generating and communicating activity reports, performance measures, and statistics to appropriate members of management.
- Extracting data from relevant sources programs and software to produce ad hoc reports or other required output documents and reviewing said documents for content and accuracy.
- Having the ability to understand the technical infrastructure, making connections of what a system can do while ensuring the end user utilizes those benefits.
- Collaborating with Local and Global Manufacturing leadership to ensure alignment and support for the readiness of activities/processes and implementation of KPI and SLA in related systems.
- Complying with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- Participating in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance.
- Possessing comprehensive knowledge of company processes, procedures, and product information/materials.
- Offering solutions to issues that are often non-standard/non-routine and require some clarification.
- Reporting all unsafe activities to the Manager and/or Human Resources.
- Participating in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Participating in special projects and/or training when requested.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Skills Knowledge & Expertise
- BA diploma
- 3 to 5 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Strong analytical skills, and proven experience in analytical roles
- Experience with Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reporting, or similar tools
- MS Excel expert level
- Experience in Python for data analysis and reporting
- SQL inquiries – working proficiency
- Experience with Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for Power BI.
- Knowledge of M language for data manipulation in Power BI.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Focus on results, ROI, and commercial growth
- Experience using Rockwell’s Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) would be a significant plus
- Ability to work autonomously without constant supervision.
