Key Responsibilities
- Regularly reconcile bank accounts and monitor bank balances.
- Prepare various journal entries, including those for TAX/VAT manual payments, refunds, bank charges, and credit cards.
- Clear cash accounts efficiently and accurately.
- Partner with various internal teams (EMEA Finance, Corporate Treasury, Corporate Accounting, Shared Service Center AR and AP in Costa Rica) on accounting and banking matters;
- Assist in the preparation of Balance Sheet Hedge Forecasts for EMEA entities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Corporate Treasury Team regarding our portfolio of legal entities.
- Develop training documents and actively support all team members by sharing knowledge and experience to ensure operational continuity.
- Perform Month-end close processes related to general ledger activities.
- Support assigned operational projects.
- Provide support for EMEA Accounting activities, including intercompany transactions and fixed assets management.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- 2+ years of relevant experience (Accounting / Banking / Treasury).
- 4+ years of general accounting experience.
- Knowledge of general accounting under US GAAP and SOX requirements.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional groups to drive and influence business solutions.
- Problem-solving capabilities, system orientation, and strong analytical skills.
- Good written, oral, and communication skills in English for working with management and cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail with effective organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge and experience in accounting operations with a strong focus on detail.
- Good knowledge of Excel; expertise with SAP and Blackline is an advantage.
