Jr. Accounts Receivable Specialist (Accounting)
This position is ideal for mid to senior-level finance professionals to join the AR Accounting Team as AR Associate; working on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. May be involved in reviewing, tracking and maintaining billing information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and other accounting regulations.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will...
- Perform Bad debt analysis for all regions.
- Prepare and park journal entries in SAP for any adjustment required.
- Assist to accounting manager on monthly reports (EPT invoices, Payments report, etc.)
- Prepare G/L accounts reconciliations in Blackline system.
- Assist to accounting supervisor on external and internal audit queries.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
What we're looking for...
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 years of directly related experience.
- Skills: Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities; able to apply professional concepts, sticks company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
- Communication: Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Complementary skills
- Blackline knowledge preferable
- SAP Blackline knowledge preferable
- Intermediate excel (Conditionals, vlookup, pivot tables)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
