SQA Engineer
This position is ideal for mid to senior-level professionals to join the software engineering team as a Software Quality Engineer, contributing to Diagnostics as a Service on the Align Digital Platform. Partnering with other software engineering teams and medical domain experts, you’ll provide your testing experience to design and implement manual and automated test cases, ensuring a high-quality software standard is maintained. This role is essential for further developing our product and continuing to provide value for our end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain test cases (manual and automated)
- Conduct test case reviews
- Drive and support the test automation of our applications
- Participate in product releases
- Estimate testing scope and plan testing for the project/feature
- Manage and maintain the required software testing documentation
- Work with bugs throughout their life cycle
- Collaborate with other applications' teams
- Participate in regulatory discussions and decision-making
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- 5+ years of previous experience as an SQA Engineer
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation using Python or JavaScript
- Experience using a test automation library such as Playwright
- Experience in writing and maintaining technical documentation for regulated medical devices is a plus
- Broad knowledge of SQA processes and their impact on product development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
