Sr. С++ Engineer
This position is ideal for software developers to join the Treatment Planning team as a Senior Software Developer, extending and improving clinical rules and approaches that form the basis of Invisalign treatment. Partnering with developers implementing mathematical methods, you’ll provide software services and detailed descriptions of clinical protocols deployed in cloud services to solve various medical tasks during the treatment planning process. This role is vital in creating user-facing applications in a regulated medical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Write software components conduct code reviews and create tests to support software development and improvement.
- Improve existing software design and refactor the existing code.
- Support the manager, system analyst, developers, and SQA in realizing development tasks, working with business partners to develop consistent and comprehensive knowledge bases.
- Collaborate with developers and engineers to develop software components and refactor existing code.
- Monitor software behavior and results and identify areas for improvement.
- Support traceability and regulatory documentation for medical software.
- Have a wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
- Determine methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinate activities with team leader/manager.
- Ensure compliance with documentation-as-code approaches, using version control, markup format, and text editors.
- Educate and guide junior engineers in contributing to consistent documentation.
- Participate in team meetings and discussions.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in software engineering or computer science.
- Experience: 8 years of experience in the role of C++ developer, or 6 years of experience with science degree (writing and managing large code bases, proposing architectural solutions, OOP programming, TDD).

Skills:
- Expert experience 3D geometry and math knowledge in C++
- Expert experience in OOP programming on C++, event and domain driven development
- Expert experience in working with version control systems (Git and Bamboo) and text editors for writing in XML, ReST, or markdown. Asciidoc experience is a big plus.
- Knowledge and practical experience of working with Kafka, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Solid knowledge of basic Computer Science disciplines with a particular focus on software development lifecycle organization process.
- Interest in learning the problem domain and sharing knowledge with the wider team.
- Ability to work in a regulated industry, follow a strict process, and achieve high quality in every detail.
- Familiarity with modern technologies and ability to learn fast.
- Ability to effectively perform under tight timelines and changing environments.
- Communication: Proficiency in speaking and writing English. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Complementary skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of programming in C# and Python.
- Knowledge of AWS native services development (Lambda, EC2, IAM, S3), and skills in CI/CD Terraform.
- Knowledge of build and deployment pipelines, and use of Bamboo for deployment scenarios.
