Technical Accounting Manager
Role Expectations
- Support the Director of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting in the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Research and implement new accounting standards and ensure compliance with existing standards.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support for complex transactions, including but not limited to consolidations, mergers and acquisitions, share based compensation, fair value measurements, revenue recognition and lease accounting.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting regulations.
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff on technical accounting issues.
- Stay current with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations
What we're looking for
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant with an “active” status preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of technical accountings experience with a public company or Big 4 public accounting.
- Skills: strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and an ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Communication: strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to breakdown complex accounting principles and positions.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively while taking responsibility for and ownership of assigned work.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with Workiva, lease accounting software and SAP
Pay Transparency
For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S.
Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
