Operation smile.
Align Technology has contributed over $2.7 million to Operation Smile, a global non-profit dedicated to providing free surgeries for children and adults with cleft lip and cleft palate. Since 1982, Operation Smile has transformed lives by performing hundreds of thousands of surgeries worldwide and Align is proud to support this life-changing mission.
America's ToothFairy
Align Technology is proud to support America’s ToothFairy, an amazing organization dedicated to providing oral health education resources to nonprofit dental clinics, public health organizations, educators, and volunteers. So far, Align has contributed over $2 million, helping to bring brighter smiles to more than eight million children. We’re thrilled to be part of such impactful work!
Cristo Rey San Jose High School
Align has partnered with Cristo Rey San José High School since 2017 through their corporate work study program and mentoring programs. This provides a diverse workforce of students who receive valuable work skills, confidence, and professional role models.

Acts of Random Kindness (ARK)
We have also established dedicated programs to support doctors treating patients who may struggle with fixed appliances due to health issues, allergies, disabilities, or specific health disorders. Through discounted fees and additional support, we aim to ensure these patients receive the care they need, making treatment more accessible and manageable for everyone.
United Way Chihuahua
Employees at our site in Juarez, Mexico which represents our largest aggregate employee population, have a longstanding partnership with United Way Chihuahua, an organization that advocates for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in every community. Through our site’s voluntary payroll deduction program, our Juarez employees generously contributed over $85,000 USD to support United Way Chihuahua. Beyond monetary contributions, Juarez employees engaged in numerous volunteer events with United Way which served as avenues for employees to directly engage with the community, fostering meaningful connections and making tangible differences in the lives of those in need.
Sustainability.
Beyond our philanthropic efforts, we are committed to environmental protection and continuously minimizing the environmental impacts of our supply-chain, processes, and services. To help us achieve these commitments, we integrate sustainability into our business operations and products in ways that help manage our environmental impact, mitigate risk, and reduce costs. For example, our facilities in Mexico and Poland recover energy from waste, while in China, we repurpose 100% for reuse in floor tiles or general recycling.
