District Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will…
Job Responsibilities - Essential duties include but are not limited to the following:
l Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, operational plans, and profitability goals for the appointed territory.
l Manage assigned accounts and team, including direction, motivation, and development of sales plans, targets, and strategies, while removing obstacles to success.
l Take ownership of the sales area, planning and developing it in a high-growth business environment.
l Provide insights to the direct manager and assist in formalizing the business development strategy to gain market share.
l Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals, complying with all policies and procedures.
l Monitor competitors and update the Marketing Manager with market intelligence.
l Engage certified and non-certified doctors to develop new cases and expand the Invisalign and iTero business
l Lead new hires and other PDMs, assisting in team success within the organization.
l Supervise sales representatives, develop customer account plans, and monitor their performance.
l Provide ongoing training to the sales team and share best practices.
l Act as the key contact/backup in the direct manager's absence.
l Lead assigned projects.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
In this role, you’ll need …
To perform this job successfully, the individual must have mastered the skill set of a District Sales Manager. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
l High integrity
l Strong analytical and business planning skills
l Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and ownership
l Track record of coaching/developing sales representatives
l Capacity to manage budgets and expenses
l Excellent written and verbal communication skills to diverse customer audiences.
l Strong capabilities to interface effectively with all customer types
l Ability to function effectively in a high-performance team and fast pace dynamic culture
l Computer skills are required, have learning agility in new analytical tools or applications.
Education and Career background
l BS or BA preferred and/or equivalent degree, major in sales, marketing, or a related science discipline would be an advantage.
l Medical, orthodontic, and/or dental sales and/or marketing experience preferred
l GP Channel experience and at least 2-3 years of people management experience
l Alternatively, background as dental therapist/hygienist and acquired valuable
