Job Title: Analyst / Sr.Analyst, Sales Incentives

Align Technology is searching for an Analyst / Sr.Analyst, Sales Incentives.  This position will be primarily responsible for administration and analysis of our Sales Incentive Compensation Plans and President’s Club program for the NA Sales organization.  We are looking for someone with a strong attention to detail and experience developing and administering incentive plans. Excellent oral and written communication skills also required to interface in a team environment with various levels of management.   Successful candidates will have experience with as well as sales incentive system implementation experience and administration such as Xactly. Primary responsible for quota setting, Sales incentives, MBO, SPIFF development, quarterly forecasts, calculation and payout for the NA Sales Organization

Prepare and send out quarterly commission statements to NA sales employees

Highly motivated individual to drive and improve the sales incentives process to ensure accurate and timely sales incentives payouts

Work closely with HR, Sales Operations and Finance to accurately process payment for new hires, terminations, LOA’s and transfers

Reconcile data from multiple systems including Salesforce, ADP and our data warehouse to ensure accurate compensation data sources and calculation

Provide ongoing support on various commission issues

Partner with sales leadership on developing and managing the NA annual sales incentive program, quota setting, and territory alignment to drive optimal growth and revenue attainment while retaining top performers

Ensure timely electronic distribution and acceptance of NA annual sales compensation plans and policy

Executive quarterly commission reporting & analysis

Analyze and prepare quarterly financial reports that details sales performance for Finance, Sales Operations and Field Sales Management

Support the implementation of the Xactly Incent Sales incentives process automation system

Ad Hoc Projects as needed

5 – 10 years commission administration experience

Understanding sales compensation process and analysis

Strong problem solving and analytical skills with minimum direction

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Able to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure

Detail oriented and is highly organized experience and sales incentives automation (i.e. Xactly Incent) experience preferred

Experience working with a sales organization along with Legal, Finance, IT, and HR

Capable to quickly adapt to new technologies and process improvement changes

Microsoft office skills (emphasis on advance excel skills, and power point)


• BA or BS degree (advanced degree a plus). • 5+ years’ experience leading the design, implementation and managing compensation programs and systems for a rapidly growing organization.
